Chris Olusola Ogedengbe, B.Sc. PGD, M.Phil. Chief Executive Officer
I am a Monitoring and Evaluation specialist, a Survey Statistician/Demographer, a Public Health Practitioner and a Data Analyst with good experience in the project management. My undergraduate works were on Statistics and my graduate works were on Demography, Population and Development studies. I was trained on Monitoring and Evaluation by the Evaluation project of USAID. I have been involved in various training on development studies including Project Management, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation and Proposal Development.
I have over twenty-five years of experience of working with International development agencies on program management and Monitoring and Evaluation either on full time or on consultancy basis. In the course of my jobs with international agencies, I have worked with USAID for 4 years as head of Monitoring and Evaluation Unit and later as Zonal Program manager. I have managed projects funded by European Union (EU) and Department for International Development (DFID) at different periods. I have also worked as the Project Officer (Monitoring and Evaluation) with UNICEF.
I have worked with the population Council as Chief of Party and Acting Country Director. I held two appointments with USAID. My first two years with USAID was as the head of Monitoring and Evaluation unit, while in the last two years I was the Zonal Program Manager for the southwest geo-political zone where I facilitated the USAID implementation partners to southwest as well as link them with non-Governmental organizations. I also led all the Monitoring and Evaluation assignments of the Sub-Projects of the Family Health Services Project of USAID in the zone.
I was the Project Manager of a USAID funded project “(HIV/AIDS Reduction Program in the Niger Delta -HARPIN)” with Pro-Health International with duty station in Port Harcourt, Rivers state Nigeria. The project covered Rivers and Cross River states.
In the period of April 2015 to May 2017, I worked as a Consultant with Synergy International Systems in the capacity of the Impact Evaluation Specialist/Country representative on Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP) – a World Bank funded project with duty station in Abuja, Nigeria.
Prior to my working with international organizations, I worked extensively with Government of Nigeria through the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) as a Survey Statistician in the Household Survey Department.
